Hands-On Flight Training

Build the confidence you need to fly your drone safely and responsibly. Sign up for a 90 minute, hands-on drone flying lesson with one of our experienced instructors. These are private one-on-one lessons, but we can accommodate groups up to three at a time.

What's Included

Your 90 minute lesson includes hands-on flying practice using the instructor’s drone, as well as ground instruction on how to set up your drone before flight.

  • Two separate 20-minute flights with our popular DJI drone.
  • Optional: bring your own drone and take a flight with it as well.
  • Learn all of the rules for flying drones recreationally.

Comprehensive Flight Training

Practice flight maneuvers with the drone facing toward you and away from you.

Basic Shots for Videography

Fly cinematic circling, ascending, descending, and spiraling shots.

DJI App Familiarization

Get the secrets on the best settings to use for your mission.

Run through preflight checklists, regulatory compliance, and emergency procedures.

    There are several good places to fly in the Twin Cities metro area. We'll discuss options near you by phone when we confirm your appointment.

    Our instructors and drones are fully registered, certified, and insured as required by the FAA and MnDOT.
